        <sub>At first, he experiences a looming sense of embarrassment–cahgrin, even–made evident by a sheepish sort of glance and gesture towards the nape of his neck.

He ruffled his hair at first, evading eye contact before he even began to think about smiling.

       Most people didn’t take too tentative a note, when faced with his more reserved and shy tendencies–which of course he had, but they were very rare. It took a special word or phrase, to get him to stop talking. An even more spectacular a feat, making him utterly speechless.
 
  More often than not, did Seth approach situations and circumstances of a particular demographic with an abundance of enthusiasm and an effervescent sort of glow. 

                                                 It was just the way he was. 

But in time, he offered a large smile, shoving his hands back into the tattered and frayed flannel pockets from whence they came.
