_{[ out of howls. ] I feel like there is reason to dislike certain characters for what they do or how they approach particular situations, but it’s also unfair to categorize people–especially young people–as inherently stupid, evil, or self-righteous. I guess this stems from the idea that I have a lot of qualms with Jacob’s character, despite the fact that I love him for what he is, and what he became. I really do like him — and he’s essential and integral to the plot surrounding Twilight as a saga, and as a franchise. What I like about Twilight is that each character has their own story–an incredibly deep story–and that’s hard to find. I used to hate it so much, but I’m growing to love it for what it was. I feel like so many characters had so much potential – but they got written off or they were faced with some pretty sucky circumstances, and the author got lethargic and somewhat mutilated the beautiful characters she made.} 

_{I guess what I’m trying to say is that I have a lot of issues with Jacob Black — I loved him in Twilight, and New Moon – but then it started to feel needlessly angsty. I don’t know. He was a real jerk to Seth in the books, sometimes — maybe I’m biased. But Seth’s not mean to anybody. And I don’t understand how you can be mean to, or ignore Seth.}
