Well, we say that in the sweetness of friendship, humility and gaiety are necessary to keep it alive; so let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds in its own rendition of the morning—-it is refreshed. Seth personally loved to laugh, but sometimes he found it inappropriate—-deemed it inappropriate to laugh without having a reason.
The more abrasive gesture caused him to sputter, pursing his lips in an attempt to conceal his flagrant disrespect for Edward’s ingenuity. He wasn’t laughing at his own disheveled, sable locks of thick and glossy hair, or the way he fumbled in his step—falling back a significant ways after having been so rudely and abruptly shoved, ( with affection and with the intent of conveying his appreciation for fraternity, of course. )
It was more the juxtaposition of it all.
That’s what had amused him.
Ed was the one always telling Seth to ‘ toughen up ‘, anyhow.

❝ ……. Hey, Ed.❞
❝ ————— You know.❞
❝ …….. ❞
❝…I think you’re going soft on me, man.❞
